   figlia di Eretteo, re dell'Attica. Moglie di Cefalo. Numerose versioni del mito: sedotta da Cefalo sotto mentite spoglie, fuggì a Creta, divenendo seguace di Artemide; amante di Pteleo, fu inseguita dal marito; fu bramata da Minosse, che le donò un cane e una lancia magica; uccisa erroneamente da Cefalo, sorpreso con Eos (Aurora).
